Verizon Decides to Stick It to Customers

After lobbying to have the FCC drop the Universal Service Fund on DSL services on customer bills, Verizon has decided to impose its own fee for DSL subscribers, which will, in effect, put an equal or greater amount of monthly revenue in the provider's coffers.

The monthly charge will be $ 1.20 per month for subscribers with DSL service up to 768 kbps, and $ 2.70 per month for those with faster service.
